Where you can play in the United States

State by state

Available across mostof the country

Promotional law rather than gambling licensing makes coverage wide. One state is closed everywhere and four more are restricted at some operators.

18+

Adults only. Gold Coins never convert to cash. Free postal entry accepted at every brand listed. Helpline 1-800-522-4700.

Washington

Closed at every brand on this list without exception. Washington treats online gambling far more strictly than any other state and operators make no attempt to work around it. If you are there, none of these accounts will open.

Idaho, Michigan, Montana and Nevada

Restricted rather than uniformly closed. Some operators exclude one or more as internal policy while others accept them, so one brand registers you and the next declines. The operator rules page is the only authority, and our reviews record exclusions wherever the brand publishes them.

The rest of the country

Generally open, with age the controlling gate. Most operators set eighteen and a handful insist on twenty-one whatever local law permits, so confirm before you register rather than afterwards.

How location gets checked

Operators geolocate at sign-up and again at redemption. A virtual private network will not help and will usually cost you the balance, because misrepresenting your location breaches the terms at every brand we tested. Accounts closed on those grounds do not get paid.

Not legal advice

We test casinos rather than practise law, and promotional law does not stand still. Use this page to orient yourself and the operator rules page to decide. A brand that accepts your registration has formed its own view about your state, and that is the only view that counts.

Confirm before registering

Every review lists the operator, the minimum, the play-through and the payout time we measured.
